Dr. Akhilesh Kumar is M.Sc (Biotech) and PhD from Jadavpur University-Kolkata. He has worked as Research Associate at Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI) New Delhi for five years. He has been awarded MASHAV scholarship for Israel and worked as visiting scientist for four years at Volcani Center (Ministry of Agriculture and Research Organization-ARO). During his tenure in Israel he has participated several agriculture entrepreneurial workshops, written blog and was involved in promotion of Indo Israel collaboration at different level. After coming back India he decided to promote precision farming to increase per capita yield which is need of hour today. He worked at Center of Excellence for Vegetables (Indo Israel Project) at Karnal to understand complication of Indian farming community. Presently Dr. Akhil is Founder and Chief ExecutiveOfficer of Eden Horticulture Services.
